Wow! This book had a bit of everything in it!
Following on from Forged in Fire we see Gen become more comfortable with her powers and who she is, which is great to see.
My biggest issue with this book was the lack of communication between Jude & Gen. It's one of my biggest turn offs in books, when the characters would be fine if they were just honest with each other. Lots of unnecessary drama with both of them. I was also not expecting their relationship to move forward quite as quickly as it did but I'm intrigued to see where it's going.
Juliette Cross is good at leaving us with a cliffhanger that needs the next book now and I'm glad I don't have to wait before diving straight into Bound in Black - that's where I'm off to next!
