Mike, Bea and Kerri share a flat in London. Mike is a struggling mime artist, Bea a once successful author and Kerri an epileptic journalist. When Kerri chances upon the body of the third victim of the Paper Doll Killer, the flatmates discover they each have links to the murderer. Is it possible the killer is one of them? Tensions run high as the friends start to turn on one another.

Well, this book was a strange one! Although I enjoyed it, I found my interest waning at times. I had difficulty connecting with any of the main characters but I stuck with it and I'm so pleased I did because the ending was excellent. It was one of those "heck, I didn't see that coming!" moments and I just love it when that happens. I actually found myself thinking about the book long after I'd finished it.

The pacing was slower than expected but as I discovered at the end, there's a very good reason why - the clues are hidden throughout. On this occasion I hang my Miss Marple head in shame; I didn't figure it out until the very end. Whilst I didn't find it an easy read, the plot held together and the ending was extremely satisfying.

I loved it. I am not usually a fan of thrillers, but this one kept me on my toes. As soon as you think you got figured out, it twists into another direction. This book is well written and has easy flow. It has no problem keeping you interested. I couldn't recommend it more to anyone starting out with thrillers or those who love it!
