adam & gloam are the best partners in crime i’ve ever had the privilege to read; and they also have a very sweet romance going on despite all the forces against them; i love these two very much

The trust that these two build with each other is utterly adorable. Gloam is a super fun species and I loved learning about his background.

I hope the cannibal cult gets addressed later in the series. Something remarkable to me about this series and the way the author has set it up is how well loose ends are being tied up over the course of the series. It was super frustrating early in the series for random characters, like Collector Mary, to be mentioned in throw-away lines without follow-up. I'm really appreciating it now.
