My 8 year old niece read an advanced copy of this one in a day and loved it! She finished and asked for book 2 right away. Then she proceeded to tell me about all of the magical creatures in the book. Her excitement as adorable. If you have a young reader who likes magical books/animals, this one will be a hit.

A great read aloud or early chapter reader. Engaging and fun storyline like an early Harry Potter. Clover is a great character.

Really charming. Concise, which is hard to find in a middle grade fantasy these days, and very gentle.

Clover's Luck by Kallie George is the first of the the Magical Animal Adoption Agency series. It was recommended to me by my seven year old niece who is a reluctant reader but loves animals and fantasy.
