I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
Just like Dead Dudes this was one of the two graphic novels I requested some months ago and was waiting to read until it was the right time. And now that it is finally October I can start! This one looked very adorable and I was eager to get started.
I am a bit tired so I will write a review as I read.
The beginning was already perfect, Frankie is just like me. Hiss hiss at the alarm clock and anyone who dares wake me.

I loved this comic. It was so colourful and weird, but in such a way that it all made sense and made a whole. I loved the characters and the "Animals" I don't know if I could call them animals since they are so huge however they were so cute. This is a cute read for a younger audience as well especially due to it being so colourful.
I love the way the story is told and how the main character deals with the events in the story. It was really good!

Frankie and The Creepy Cute Critters is a small 40 page comic about Frankie Fairy who moves to a new place with her mother. She is at a new school and is struggling to fit in so she turns to the creepy critters that she loves adding to her little field book. This is a comic about how one accepts themselves and how to embrace who they are. This is perfect for children3 but I also found that I enjoyed it a lot as it was a wholesome story and I think everyone can do with reading an accept yourself story.

A sweet little kids comic about embracing your weirdness and the weirdness of the natural world. Excellent for curious/explorer-type kids.

Frankie is a scary fairy... or is she? Frankie is a fairy that moves to a new school in the middle of the year. She is smart, friendly, and energetic but her new teammates do not seem to think so. She has a hard first day of school but she does not give up and instead continues to have many adventures and is determined to let her classmates know just how amazing she is. I have to say this is the perfect book for fall or spooky season. It has an awesome message for the kids and it just keeps you in the mood for fall. Its full of awesome illustrations like critters and magical creatures and it has the perfect message to just never give up.

My goodness this was so so cute. Frankie is fun and friendly, cute and creepy. The book has a really nice message about fitting in and being yourself. The colours are wonderful, and the art is very cute and works well with the story. It's also funny in places and I think kids along with adults will enjoy it. I'm looking forward to reading more of her adventures in later books!

Received with thanks from Oni Press and Netgalley for an honest review. This was adorable and fun. I really liked Frankie and her mum. The art style is something right up my ally. I enjoyed watching Frankie's first day at a new school and her adventures with her wooley bear Tuna. This graphic novel was enjoyable and informative.

This was a short and quick read, but I thought the art style was very cute and the story she had a great, positive message about fitting in at a new school.
