I actually think his short story writing has gotten better with time. He does have some classics in here such as Graveyard Shift. Actually some of his best in this collection aren't really true horror stories at all.

I loved the book. Many different stories that might frighten you.

I've never really been a fan of Stephen King's short stories; there have been a few here and there I liked but Night Shift is an amazing collection. Some of the stories deeply disturbed me (The Mangler) while others stayed with me long after I read them (The Last Rung on the Ladder). This is a fantastic collection of stories that I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

I wasn't really impressed with this one from King. I liked a couple of the short stories and found them entertaining enough, but overall, I was bored and really struggled to get through this book.
