I seriously lost my entire review when Goodreads when down for maintenance...now I want to pout because I thought it was amazing. So let me see if I can get it back.

Jay Crownover doesn't write crappy ass books. She could rewrite the telephone book, and I would read that too! I absolutely loved Church and Dixie, I mean, like was totally invested in their lives like they were actual people.( I may need help for this) Anywho, in Riveted Jay brings together Church and Dixie, Church is a former soldier whom served with a little known dude by the name if Rome Archer, whom if you read any Jay you will have read the Marked Men series which started this snowball of a journey for Jay.
Dixie, is the positive ray of sunshine, to Church's more serious side. This story touches on a multitude of topics, like racism, family, bonds with friends, and a touch of cray cray. We also get to see how Wheeler and Poppy meet, but I am not going to discuss that. These characters are so well thought out, and so well put together, it's almost impossible to not think about these two long after you are done reading. If you are going to buy one book this year, make this book it. You can never, ever go wrong with a Jay Crownover book. This story is told in 1st person, alternating views with Church and Dixie.

Riveted took me on a trip away from danger, where danger was lurking in every dark corner, and it was impossible to know whether Dixie or Church was the target.

Riveted did exactly that to me while I was reading it - I was riveted from start to finish, especially because Dixie and Church had been dancing around each other in prior books in the Saints of Denver series, and I was eager to see what would happen if they finally gave into their attraction and went for it.

I was very happy with what happened once Church realized that Dixie just might be the one for him - even if he had decided he didn't deserve to be happy in any way, shape or form. The danger that followed them while they were biking from Denver to Mississippi heigthtened both their and my senses, and even while looking at their trouble from different angles, I was incapable of figuring out what was going on until it all came to light.

Fast paced, this story had excitement, romance, forgiveness, loyalty and family as main themes, and I couldn't get enough.

I've been pushing this book back because for some reason I could not strike up my usual excitement that I had with Jay Crownover. I loved her for so long but I felt that after much thought, all her stories follow the same formula and unneeded a break.

I took it and I did enjoy this story of Church and Dixie but I did not love it. It was more of an okay read. I liked Dixie a lot but Church's self loathing got annoying after the first 20%. I wanted to see them as a couple longer than we did. I wanted to see Church's growth and him happy for far longer than an epilogue.

I also found the conflict also very far fetched that made it quite unbelievable. I didn't buy the whole psycho date thing because I mean people do snap so maybe..??

I did love the writing though as well as the overall plot. I loved that it was a story of healing and of family. Church deserved a HEA and I'm happy he got it!

Dixie and Church. I must admit, I read this one out of order so I knew they were going to make it. But I really liked watching Church reach for the sunshine that is Dixie. I loved seeing Wheeler in the middle of his breakdown (I’d already read his story:) I just love this whole crew and all the outliers. Their stories are full of drama but so well done

Great!

I really enjoyed this book. I have to admit I wasn't flipping out over these two characters before reading this book. Nothing against them, I just hadn't thought much about them. So glad I got around to reading their book though. Church and Dixie were a great couple that felt very real. Can't wait for Wheeler and Poppy's book!

The author takes us on a trip out of Denver and these Saints (I say these because I believe they both belong in that category) needed that push. To find your soulmate isn't always the easiest, and this story proves it in spades. I've waited for the story for Church for a long time, and the author hit it out of the park for me.

What a rockstar Author!!! Not only does Jay create characters you instantly feel connected to and want in your tribe, but the stories are usually something everyone can relate to. Dixie and Church are no exception. Opposite outlooks on life attract to one another. Her sunshine optimism is exactly what Church's doom and gloom pessimistic personality didn't know it needed. Loved every minute of the read

This was such a hot Grumpy/Sunshine story! Church needs to fill in all his broken spaces & this little ray of sunshine might just be what he needs to fill in all the cracks.
