More twists & turns. It is great how they keep it interesting for so long. Even with a second read still enjoy it & enjoying picking out how the manga differs from adaptations. The manga was how I read it first but this is first time have come back after the anime, live action show, the movies. If this is your first read it’s a treat as usual. This volume does not disappoint & sets up the next arc for the series.

When another person with a Death Note suddenly appears, things start to get more complicated for Light. With more pieces at play, Light will need to tread very carefully to get rid of both L and the mysterious Misa. Even more perilous is that she has her own Shinigami with his own agenda.
I enjoyed the deeper complication that this volume offers. I would have liked to see Misa's character explore more deeply, but it appears that she was merely just another pawn in the plot to continually challenge Light's character development. While the story is still full of action and twists, it still feels very small with such a limited cast.
