The Girl from Widow Hills is about Arden Maynor, who was just a child when she was swept away while sleepwalking during a rainstorm and went missing for days. When she was old enough, she changed her name to Olivia and disappeared from the public eye. She's managed to stay under the radar for years until one night she awakes from sleepwalking again, with a body at her feet.
I liked the plot of this novel. I do think it was a little slow but I did not see the ending coming at all. The twist took me completely by surprise and I loved it.
Olivia wasn't the most reliable narrator in my opinion, as she's paranoid and distrusting, easily jumping to conclusions about people around her. I enjoy characters like that in my thrillers, so I was a fan.
I loved the writing. It pulled me in easily and I was quickly wrapped up in the story. I sped through this one, finding it hard to put the book down.
The Girl from Widow Hills was an entertaining read and I had a good time with it.Â
