A bold and devastating departure from Leila Chatti's previous publications but recognizable as her precise, reverent voice.  Words and meanings shatter across pages and line breaks as the poet speaks into the unspeakable of pregnancy loss.  A humbling, harrowing book to hold and yet strikingly beautiful.  One of the best possible uses of both the abecedarian form and the visually fragmented form that I can imagine.  It is not a lengthy read but left a lasting solemn and sacred impression.  I want to frame each page and hang them in a museum.
