this took me ages to read, but I loved being back in this world, I love Amari and Elsie. I wasn't too sure about Laura at the start of the book but I warned up to her as the story went on. I really liked how Amari and Dylan's relationship was handled in this one and how the book showed how hard it is too move on from an ex-best friend. Jayden was also a great character and I can't wait to see more of him. My only complaint is that I thought the pacing of the book was a little bit off. Like at one point Amari says that it has been a week since they all returned to the Bureau and that felt... off to me. But apart from that very small thing I loved this book and I cannot wait for the third book, especially after those last 50 pages because they were intense.

Eine unfassbar gut gelungene Fortsetzung.

Ich liebe einfach alles daran. Die Charaktere, das Setting, die Handlung und vor allem den Schreibstil. Einfach alles. Es knüpft sofort an den ersten Band an und man ist direkt wieder in der Welt von Amari. Man fiebert, wie beim ersten Teil, sofort wieder mit.

Die Balance zwischen Magie, Mobbing, Freundschaft und Vertrauen ist richtig gut und es ist super, dass auch solche wichtigen Themen angesprochen werden.

Und wenn ich ehrlich bin, lässt das Ende, meiner Meinung nach, auf eine Fortsetzung hoffen

What in the cliff hanger??!! Well shoot when’s book 3 coming I’m excited to read it already!! If you’ve got kids/pre-teens early teens etc. this book series is fantastic! So magical and exciting! I highly recommend!!
