I mostly read this one since these books aren't techinally standalones.
Took off one star because I wasn't crazy about their age gap (almost 27 & 21 is a little too big imo) & I disliked that everyone thought that Brynn was pregnant when they got engaged.
Took another star off for Chase saying, "She was twenty-one, sheâd probably been hot for like five years now," at the beginning of Chapter 2. That line alone was just a BIG no from me.
If that line hadn't been included, I would've given this one 4 stars.

3.5 âď¸ I liked Chase and Brynn and how quickly they go together. I liked it more than the first book and it was binge worthy. I like the characters and Claireâs writing style even if this wasnât my favorite book.

This is one of my all time favorite books! Itâs an absolute must read. Claire Kingsley does a phenomenal job of creating realistic characters who you feel like are part of your family. Chase and Brynn are so sweet together and the bromance between Chase and Cooper is hysterical in some chapters and made me tear up in others. The Miles is special....if you havenât read this series yet you are truly missing out.

Forbidden Miles is quite different from the usual sneak around, forbidden brother's best friend romance. Almost from the beginning Chase and Brynn want to be open about exploring a relationship. Their story is about the hurdles they face as they try to get to know each other in their new relationship while facing family who aren't quite as supportive as they could be.
I love that Brynn stays strong though, she trusts in Chase and her feelings. Chase is so caring, he is supportive of Brynn's study, he's romantic and the scavenger hunt is the best. Their story is steamy, romantic, hilarious and heartwarming. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Brynn x Chase
Brother's best friend.
This relationship came from NOWHERE. There was no tension no nothing. Just Bam! I didn't like that.Â
