I feel like something great could have come from the story if it wasn’t focused so hard on the Hollywood aspect and more on the rivalry of Cross and Dante. At the start of the book it even felt like a foreshadowing that these two babies were gonna go head to head when they grew up but in the end Cross of the center focus of the story alongside his dad, Pippi and Dante felt more like a very one-note antagonist who was just filled to the brim with tropes
Graphic: Death, Drug use, Mental illness, Misogyny, Sexism, Sexual content, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Murder, and Alcohol
Moderate: Cursing, Gun violence, Rape, Violence, and Blood
Minor: Pedophilia, Racial slurs, Racism, and Xenophobia
It’s a product of its time or the time period it was written in and does reflect the current views of society when I write this
