I dnf this book around page 70, and honestly, it's weird. I get she grew up in a cult, but the story from when she was younger with Matt, made me uncomfortable, but I looked passed it, since. You know. Cult. Shit happens. Fast forward to where I dnf. Sex had not been really part of the plot except for the mention above about when she was little. Suddenly, it's all she wants from the love interest, and will not believe that he's asexual. No, instead she blames it on alcohol, cigarettes, homosexuality, and plain uninterest. So, instead of trying to understand, she has sex with a woman in front of him, then the next day calls lesbians 'dykes'. The way the protagonist speaks and views the LGBT community... I'm not here for it. Not when this book was published in 2016. Maybe she goes through some growth, but this starting point just completely turned me away from this book.
