Such a breathtaking read. Engaging, painful, poignant and just a fucking good book. It engages with politics, philosophy, history and media through a protagonist who felt so alive.

A man of two minds and two identities but nowhere to belong.

Some parts were very hard to read, and the whole book had a very crass tone, but overall, the prose was gripping and informative.

This book is such a wild ride. It was so clever, funny, and engaging. The prose was just beautifully droll and funny. Reminded me of Don Delilo but also maybe Ian McEwan a little bit. Such seering commentary on colonialism, racism, war, and loyalty. Can't wait to watch the HBO series and read the sequel.
