Naast de belangrijke thema’s die de schrijver aanhaalt zoals masculiniteit, police brutality, ideniteit, het enkel gezien worden als black person.. heeft dit boek zo’n calming and warming schrijfstijl die je laat voelen wat onvoorwaardelijke aantrekking tussen twee prachtige mensen juist is.

So beautifully written, poetic to its core. This book explores the  experience of a black man; his love, vulnerability, anxieties, his joy, and passions in such a beautiful way.
