Love, loved, LOVED this book! It’s like a regency rom com. I laughed out loud so many times and my face hurt from smiling so much! It was just so great! I love that Sally isn’t your traditional leading lady for a regency romance and John is just so clueless at times it kills me, but he has such a good heart! 5 stars! I would definitely recommend and I already have to my closest friends and family, you won’t be disappointed!

I was all in on this super fun rom com for 80% of the book. Jonathan and Sally were both so fun, and even more fun together. I loved the side characters, I loved the romance, and I was having a blast.

And then... the miscommunication trope entered the chat. I cannot stand the miscommunication trope, and the entire climax of the novel centered on a problem that could have been solved if they'd just spoken to one another. I was a little more forgiving of it because this is a rom com, but even then, the miscommunication trope in romcoms should be used to be funny, not dramatic.

Other than that damper though, I enjoyed the book. It still ended well, I still adored the first 80%, and I'm probably still going to read the next book in the series.

I read Manor for Sale, Baron Included by Esther Hatch this week and let me just say it lived up to the hype! I’ve heard a lot of people rave about this book and it truly is as amazing as everyone says it is!

If I’m being honest I was a little worried at first when I met Jonathan and saw how instantly determined he was to marry Sally. I was bothered that he didn’t even seem to acknowledge the possibility that it might not work out. But I loved seeing him grow when he realized Sally was going to make him work really hard to win her over!

I loved the playful teasing and gift exchanges and how both Jonathan and Sally kept each other on their toes!
And the pond scene? And that kissing scene? Talk about swoony!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love strong independent female characters and Sally definitely fits that description. I love that she knows what is most important in her life and is willing to make whatever sacrifices necessary to achieve her goals and dreams. And I loved seeing that approach to life rub off on Jonathan (or as I prefer to think of him, “Lord Pond-Swimming Perfect-Dress-Giving Pugilist Farnsworth”!) Jonathan and Sally are wonderful and it was so fun to read their story!

Thank you Esther Hatch for an incredible story! I enjoyed it immensely and will be recommending it to everyone!

Almost gave up on it, male lead appeared to be crazy dense and the heroine was crazy prickly, but there was more to the story and I am glad I came back to it.

Another clean romance that I didn’t mean to read. It was just missing something.

A delightful, fluffy (in a perfect way) little romance with some funny lines and moments too. Jon and Sally are both fun characters. I wish the story could've been longer and that we could've gotten to known them even more.
