Solid lady-Wolverine book that revisits Laura's past. Equal parts funny and action-packed. Art is mixed, but generally attractive. Good not great.

The art is a little inconsistent. And seeing X-23 in the Wolverine costume is still a bit jarring. But this book gets her pretty right. And extends her story into a direction that might actually be new and different. It would seem this book would be a little bit hard to follow and appreciate if dropped in the middle. But following right along, her sisters add to the story. Violent, but not overly violent.

The story isn’t as engaging as the previous two installments, and the art is a major step down. It’s still okay, but the tonal shift to darker stuff, like the murder of an entire town, is a bit much. Previously we were rescuing squirrels, and I was expecting more of that.

Tom Taylors All-New Wolverine is some of the best comic writing I've read in a long time.

this is all so precious and I'm so happy for Laura's personal growth?? and also for Gabby and Jonathan and the pelican statue.

What an amazing read this was!

It pretty much starts with Laura getting the trigger concoction that makes her kill anyone and she goes Berserk and well its related to her origins and the coming of Kimura and what happens when she is in hiding in a town named Daylesville and she is infected there and then the usual coming of Shield and her captured and then by Kimura and we know of her plans and then her going to Tyger Tiger and being given a mission to take her out and then how her friends rescue her sort of and a big evolution for her.. from her origins and its an insane moment and maybe a final solace for her?

Its an amazing volume and like brings the character of Laura from X-23 to Wolverine like she doesn't have to be a weapon and I love the way Taylor takes the elements of her origin and also the EOTS storyline and makes it work in a profound manner and gives Laura an amazing moment with her sister and later on cousins and a terrific ending to her long time arch nemesis in Kimura and a heroic journey to her and Gabby and this evolves their character so much! I loved this whole thing and the art is gorgeous and it makes for a quick read and that just tells you how good it is so yeah a must recommend!
