The part of me that was destroyed by this book wants to give it a 2. The part of me that loved this book wants to give it a 5.
But a 4 is probably more accurate than a 3 so I landed there.
I laughed, I sobbed, I stared in shock at the last page. It was definitely a heavy subject, especially reading it as a parent.
I *think* I loved it. But omgggggg the last few chapters had me sobbing, and then the last chapter was just....I don't even know.

It was an interesting book. Some parts made me giggle, and some parts were sad too. The book was entertaining, but wasn't mind blowing. When Finn would get distracted, I expected to get annoyed, but I enjoyed the filler moments and made Finn feel like an actual "kid character". I would recommend this book for someone who just wants a break from reading bigger novels. I
Overall, it was okay. I probably won't read it again, but it was a good read overall! If you want to read it, go ahead!

A very nice and heartwarming story about a boy who dies and then tries to figure out why while settling his unfinished business. The friendship with Isabella was endearing, and it showed Finn being braver than he thought he was.
Overall, sweet. Not mind-blowing, but a decent story and well paced.

I….don’t think I enjoyed it very much? I don’t know 🤣 But listening to the audiobook, you will get sick of hearing “Ridge Rim Road.” I think I would have to agree with other reviewers’ comments that the epilogue just wasn’t it 🙅🏻♀️
