I’m honestly torn on how to rate this book. It was a nice read and I enjoyed the writing style, but I’m unsure of what the writer was trying to achieve.
The story starts out by describing ‘the rapture’, an event that claimed millions of people across the world, but clearly that wasn’t the main focus of the book. It tried to show what mass disappearance would lead to, how people would seek comfort in each other or might not ever be able to move on.
Someone wrote: this was both the most interesting and boring book ever, and I must agree. So for that, I’ve rated it a 3/5.
