I downloaded on Libby off a whim to have something short to listen to on my drive to and from work over the weekend. The story can be good but it was just really short and hasn't gotten to the main parts yet. It seemed like this book was more so just setting up the rest.  If I remember to, I will get book 2 on Libby once it's out. I have too curious of a brain to not finish the story lol

2.5 stars.

This was a solid 3 to 3.5 stars. A little to angsty and repetitive on the main dramatic tension for 4-stars. And then it stopped. In the middle. It's worse than a cliff-hanger, it's 1/2 a book.
