I really liked that the time setting was new to me. I enjoyed that the heroine had to nurse the hero back to health for most of the book. I am thankful that the conmen miscommunication was not apart of this book, but that the author wrote another problem for the couple. The dog was adorable and I want one for myself. For me this book was nothing special, but i did enjoy it and I don’t regret reading it
