A solid epic fantasy. Definitely slow to start, but builds up to climactic moments. Loved how it was wrapped up.

Men cannot grieve as dogs do. But we grieve for many years.

I am usually more of a medium/fast paced person, but I really liked this book despite it being low paced! It did not get boring and I kept wanting to read on and know what happens next. There were loveable characters and characters I absolutely hated. 
 There’s so many unanswered questions and things I don’t understand, I’m excited to see where this story is going!

The end almost made me cry :(. Fitz finding out that Nosy still lived and then Nosy saving him and dying :(. It was very beautifully written. I also love the illustration that came with it.
