I was SOBBING within the first 5 pages, Colleen. How dare you break my fucking heart like that!

But then...I guess you repaired it equally as heartbreakingly, so maybe I'll forgive you.

Auburn hasn't had the easiest last few years, and moving to a town where she doesn't know many people was even harder, but necessary. Meeting Owen on a whim and his painting confessions was not what she thought would help her in her situation. Their connection was insane and so well written. I guessed a few of the plot twist things early on, but I don't know if everyone will. They were pretty damn good twists. What a wonderfully cyclical book.

I have read all of Colleen Hoovers most popular books, including Verity, It Ends/It Starts With Us, Ugly Love, November 9, and Hopeless, and this one is my absolute favorite. I started reading this book knowing absolutely nothing about is and I am so glad I did. I finished it so fast because I genuinely could not put it down. The prologue already had me in tears and Auburn immediately had my heart (I am also a hairdresser so I connected with her on that level too). This book deserves so much more attention, I am absolutely in love with it. This will probably be my favorite book for a long time.

I enjoyed this. It was a little boring at first and they were Some plot twists that I didn’t see it coming. I liked the Auburn as a main character Owen was OK at first he was really weird to me but he got better and the secret wasn’t that big of a deal and I kind of saw it coming. There’s some more serious contact in this so trigger warning for sexual assault, emotional abuse, physical abuse, addiction, and some other things. I really like the artwork included in this. That was a good touch and I do wish we got a little more confessions because those are really interesting.

Could this be my new favorite CoHo book? Very much so. OMG (those who read it will understand lol), I could not put it down, I don’t think I ever felt so angry at fictional characters as I did with some from “Confession”, and loved others with the same intensity. This book is amazing. I can’t stop thinking about it, guess I’ll have to watch the series now.
