A story of 2 teens who refuse to let their poor upbringing, poverty, and lack of parental guidance and love to dictate their future. Beautiful, heartbreaking, inspirational. This book made me fall in love with the idea of love. This book is the definition of “I would do anything for you”.

This is a rough review for me. While I really enjoyed the characters and plot - the setting felt very off to me. The descriptions felt very disingenuous, heavy handed and full of misinformation making it hard for me to get lost in the storytelling.
