We really like this book but I have a few wishes. The first is that I wish they would have included links to where you could buy the kids products they put out, I know that I can easily Google them, but this seems like an obvious thing to include. The second is small, but I wish they had included a recipe for flaxseed and honey lemonade. It obviously wouldn't have to be Mikaila Ulmer's recipe, but this would be a fun way to get kids using (and buying) local honey and connecting to the book and these activists in a more concrete way. And lastly, I do think the ideas for how kids can get active are better than most, but once again the "take shorter showers and turn off the water when you brush your teeth" was there. These are great ideas, but for kids who are already really thinking about the environment and climate change these ideas feel so old and small and regurgitated from every other book, they want more.

This short chapter book introduces readers to five young kids who saw a problem and did something about it. These kids took their ideas and ended up doing something really big about it, but it goes to show readers you can start somewhere and see how it grows.
