I enjoyed this book overall, but there were some things in the book that I didn't find believable which broke my immersion. I am happy to have read it though, and to have gotten a conclusion to the story.

Por culpa de las clases me demoré más de lo esperado leyendo este libro. Aún así me gustó, no sé si me gustó más que el primero. Pero en términos de crecimiento de personaje y giros en la trama este libro gana. Bonito final, nada más que agregar.

Hmph. I reread my review of Warcross where I wax poetic about duologies. In this one, I'm not at all certain that I needed to read this. This story line could have been summed up in one book.
Part of what made the first book fun was the world building and the game itself. This book didn't seem to have much world building and the focus wasn't necessarily on the game.
Maybe it's because I found myself not really caring about Hideo (oh, heroine, you fell in love with the richest guy on the planet? And he's conveniently your age? yawn.) Hideo's missing brother was sort of interesting in the first book, but for some reason my curiosity was quenched once I got to the actual explanation.
I'm sounding harsh. This wasn't a terrible book--in fact, I enjoyed myself a lot. It just felt like every once in a while I had to sit and try to feel why something felt missing and felt off.
