This is one of my favorite book series-funny and heartwarming and very well written.

Nothing will beat The Rosie Project but this was perfect hot summer day beach reading. It was lovely to be back with the Tillman’s and to have such a nuanced and thoughtful representation of autism.

I really liked this one! I like the way that this author tells real life stories with just enough intrigue to keep your attention. Don's voice is also clear and unique which separates this book from a lot of other contemporary family dramas.

I can't comment on the quality of the representation in this book necessarily, but I really liked that this installment really focused on the idea of labelling others versus labelling yourself. I really appreciated that it discussed how people feel like the need to assign labels in order to understand each other, especially in terms of adults and children. I also liked the emphasis on letting a person decide how they want to represent themselves, in all aspects.

Not keeping my attention. Feels predictable and I just don’t feel that I want to carry on.

I adore this series and truly hope this is not the end. While significant and polarising topics are covered in this story, it is a comfortable and digestible read.
