We all love a good "He Fell First" story and this one is no exception! Miles and Lizzie complement each other so well. Their "meet cute" was so sweet! I loved the literary references and how it was an immediate connection for them! The story was fun and sweet without being predictable. Miles is the gentleman we all dream of but has the filthiest mouth we all want in a MMC. Lizzie gives him the perfect balance to really bring out both sides of him! She is determined to reach her dreams and won't let a man stand in her way anymore. Miles only gives her the support she needs to reach that dream without stifling her. It's a wonderful love story with the best balance of spice.

DNF’d at 34% because there is noooooo way. just no way. I feel like I have whiplash by how fast the relationship developed and not in a “awwww” kind of way. Felt almost robotic and overly predictable.

Wow. Highly Recommend to those who are a fan of love at first sight and whirlwind relationships.

The emotions that I experienced while reading this book were absolutely insane and unexpected. I laughed, cried, got angry, and cried some more, (happy tears). This was yet another book that I didn't want to put down, dangit real life.

Miles:
Miles, is so dreamy and with each turn of the page I kept thinking to myself, "when he drops the ball, I am going to be gutted." I waited and waited for this perfect man to not be perfect and he showed up, proving over and over that he is one of the good ones. Welcome to my ever growing list of book boyfriends.

Elizabeth:
I absolutely love Elizabeth and could see a lot of my real life feelings and experiences resonating though her which made her character even more special and relatable to me.

L.B. is a very talented Author and I can't wait to check out more of her books!

Did not like the writing style. Way the characters spoke was just not believable. Just not for me.

3.5⭐️ rounding up to 4 for Good reads.
Thank you L.B. Martin for sending me this book. I really enjoyed reading this book and following Miles & Lizzie’s story. While I did feel the timeline was a little unrealistic and the amount of times “baby” or “babe” was used made me cringe at times I still thoroughly enjoyed reading. The ending had me in tears. I can’t wait to read Sebastian story in the next book!

This was an easy and super cute read.

Elizabeth had a perfect childhood growing up until something that changed her and her life. She struggles with relationships and doesn’t believe in fairytales.

“The truth is, I don’t trust men. I’ve seen the same thing happen time and time again, and now I am putting my foot down. I don’t have faith in men, plain and simple.”

Miles became the CEO of his fathers company unexpectedly and works so much he doesn’t have time for relationships. The one night stands with woman are growing tiresome and he wants a change.

“That part of my life is in the past. As I near my thirties, I am ready to find the one woman I am meant to settle down with.”

A chance encounter between Lizzie and Miles at a coffee shop and then later that evening, at a club, it was destined to be. Their relationship blossomed really quickly and has some uncertainties.

Miles and Lizzie were perfect! Such a great and happy read. miles was so open and honest about his feelings. It was refreshing to see that. Lizzie took time to open up but once she did it was a relief.

No third act break up. There was some drama but not between Miles and Lizzie. It was outside factors that added a little drama to the story.

Overall a great read!

I did receive an ARC for my honest review.
