“Sexy as sin. Crazy as hell…you’re a mind-f!ck, that’s what you are, and I’ve never wanted to figure something out so badly.”

I knew from the beginning that Kinsley was going to get on my nerves. I spent point 5 seconds with her and knew. And I was correct, all the way through. But the way she got on Mack’s nerves made me like her a little bit more. When I finished chapter two, I had no idea where anyone belonged. But then it CLICKED! And then it was chaos! Mack had no intentions of making Kinsley’s life easy. Well…he swears he wasn’t going to. But then she was safe and sound tucked away in his secluded home. He risks everything for her, without any more hesitation. I never got a real handle on Mack and Kinsley. I wasn’t sure what was out of character, and what made sense for them. I feel like a story with this many moving pieces should have been longer to allow space to properly play out.

My Favorite Quotes:
• “Oh, trust me, you couldn’t handle being my prisoner.”
• “You’re too sexy for your own good…but you know that already, don’t you?”
• “You’re not the kind of woman who can be handled…not even by me.”
• “Don’t for a second think that you’re here for anybody other than me.”
• “I like you in my house.”
• “I feel beautiful when you look at me.”
• “That’s because it’s not just sex…not with you.”
• “When you step out that door, you’re still mine…you understand?”

I was completely hooked on this story from the very beginning!

Mack is the head of security for a billionaire and there is one woman that is absolutely driving in mad, in more than one way. Kinsley is trying to get to Mack’s boss, who she once had a “relationship” with. Kinsley is gorgeous and she knows it. She uses those looks to get what she wants, though Mack is trying not to fall for her charms. It’s not only Mack who is trying to fall though, Kinsley is also struggling.

I LOVED the back and forth between Mack and Kinsley. Its steamy and its hilarious. Their chemistry is off the charts and when they both finally give into the connection it is HOT HOT HOT!

There is a little drama throughout the story and Mack is still trying to figure out what Kinsley’s motive is for getting to his boss. I also loved the supporting characters, especially Mack’s friend/coworker Gilley. He led to LOADS of laughs throughout the story.

This story is full steam, laughs and a whole lot of crazy! A MUST READ from Nicole Goodin.

There both a distraction the other doesn’t need, both find it hard to resist, every time Kinsley thinks she’s making progress in getting close to her ex-boss, Mack is there with he’s sexy body.
Mack can’t believe that Kinsley has been avoiding them at every turn and each time he sees her he can’t help but want her, she’s full of sass which makes him chuckle, the problem is she pulls in him like gravity.
Things shift, Kinsley doesn’t want to get away from Mack, and Mack doesn’t want to let her leave. Mack makes sure that Kinsley knows she’s not there because she’s a job, he wants her, but he learns that Kinsley has some insecurities, about men only wanting one thing, someone hurt her and he’s going to make sure to change her thinking.
When they play a game of questions, Mack asks Kinsley doesn’t she want her own life, she doesn’t know how to, he tells her to reach out and take it. Kinsley wants Mack but knows she can’t keep up her revenge and have him too, deciding he’s worth it until she gets reminded why she wanted revenge and hopes Mack can forgive her.
I loved Gilly, everyone has ‘that’ one friend that makes life interesting.

Mr June by Nicole S Goodin is Book 6 in the Calendar Boys series.
It’s a standalone contemporary romance about Security Expert Jared (Mack) Mackenzie and Billionairess Kinsley (Cristal) Barlett.
I LOVED Mr June. Mack was such a strong swoony character and I loved Kinsley’s crazy personality traits. I especially loved them together and the secondary characters were an awesome balance.
My favourites were Mack and Kinsleys introduction and also their pet names for each other.
I enjoyed this one very much. All the calendar boys are just getting better and better, I can not wait for July.

Can you say crazy? Straight from the get go, I knew this one was going to be a hoot! All kinds of crazy comes out to play in this one, and it’s hilarious! I love a bit of cray-cray.

Mack is head of security for a wealthy business man, William Wellman. He’s certainly got his hands full when a dark-haired woman constantly tries to gain access to the house. She won’t stop at anything to get inside, for reasons she’s not willing to share.
The problem is, she’s not just a handful, she’s a sexy handful, and one that Mack can’t stop thinking about.

The banter between these two is both hot and hilarious, and Mack’s best friend, Gilly, certainly gets a few good quips in there too. In fact, I’d love to see him get a story of his own…
