Salah satu novel yang membuatku cukup lelah saat membacanya. Menceritakan tentang masa-masa diktator sebuah pemerintahan, serta bagaimana caranya untuk menghabisi lawan-lawannya. Cukup menyakitkan ketika banyak sekali details tentang penyiksaan dan cara-cara menghabisi lawannya di dalam novel ini.
Namun, di samping itu, menurutku alurnya cukup lambat yang membuatku cepat merasa bosan saat membacanya. Tetapi, buku ini adalah salah satu yang paling realistis dan terlihat sangat nyata ketika kita membacanya. Saking detailnya penulisannya, kita bahkan bisa membayangkan bentuk penjara dan bagaimana mereka disiksa.

¡El primer libro de Miguel Ángel que completo!
No soy una persona aficionada a los escritos de Miguel Ángel, son demasiado enredados para mí. Soporto a Gabriel García Márquez y es hasta fácil comprenderlo en comparación al nobel guatemalteco.
Sin embargo, debo decir que comencé a leer este libro sin muchas expectativas, pero me ha fascinado. Uno de los mejores libros que he leído este año, y ahora comprendo porqué Asturias se convirtió en Premio Nobel de Literatura.
