Would’ve give it 6 stars if I could - absolutely beautiful, poignant, and incredibly down to earth. Whether you’re here for the poetry, mythology, marine biology and oceanography or queerness, this book delivers. Really something special.

Truly exquisite collection of essays. Definitely deserves the label “lyric.”

I enjoyed the book and really liked the references the author makes to history and mythology. However some of these references made me lost at points.

I learnt a lot about fish reading this book and I was specially interested in the stories around eels <3
