The first half of the book reads like a text book. Send like the author had an idea of what he thought would happen in the future and wanted to share it with the world so tried to put it in a story but didn't work out super well. I was glad it was only 148 pages and could get it over with quickly.

Absolutely loved it :) It reminded me so much of George Melies' "Trip to the Moon" film that I also very much enjoyed. I would highly recommend this to any sci-fi fan, it was unique and a fun read.

A light short read. Probably had more resonance when it was first published but an interesting perspective on Victorian views of the future.

This book holds up really well for being over 120 years old. I'm amazed I haven't read this classic scifi before now...
