This was such a cute little intro and refresher on the series leading up to "remembrance". I remember why I loved Suzy Simon and her hilarious personality, I remember why I fell in love with Jesse de silva and why I loved this series so much. I didn't want to stop reading!!! I'm so excited to read "remembrance", so bittersweet :,)

I loved revisiting this series! I read the Mediator series in high school and they were some of my favorite books, so when I saw that Meg Cabot had written Remembrance and then a bonus novella with a college-age Suze, I was beyond excited. Though short, this one did not let me down and I can't wait to get more of Suze's sarcastic and tough personality in the next one. We get a quick look at what the family is up to and some hints at the drama to come. Jesse was one of my first book-boyfriends when I started reading romance so it was nice to read about him again. He's still the sweet gentleman from the other books but I'm sure Suze will turn him into a 21st century guy in no time.

This was mostly a quick look at how Suze and Jesse get engaged so there wasn't really enough of the story to find any faults. It was quick but the right length considering the situation and purpose of the story.

Technically part of a series but you get enough background info to make it through as a standalone.

I am currently making a bunch of incoherent squealing noises. I can't believe I forgot how much I loved this series and these characters. This may have only been a novella but it made me laugh and cry and feel a million different emotions. I'm not a romantic person, but I am in love with Suze's and Jesse's love. There was a great balance of romance and paranormal elements. I also love and appreciate Suze even more, now that I'm older, than I did when I first read these books. She is so badass. I can't wait to read Remembrance. I'm so happy [a:Meg Cabot|11654|Meg Cabot|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1197201648p2/11654.jpg] decided to write more for this series!
