Good read

Dani meets Blaze when she runs out if gas on the way home to her father, after some messed up stuff happens. They have a one night stand. But, when she gets back to LA she encounters Blaze again since his MC is working with her father

I liked the fact that we saw the criminal element, but Blaze was in touch with his emotions enough to know that he wanted Dani. There was no fighting it when everything went down. I liked the fact that Blaze didn't screw around, though I didn't like the fact that the beginning, there were scenes of the both of them with other people. But that wasn't enough to take away from the story. I already was somewhat unsatisfied witht the endinv. But Part 2 was even more of a HFN, creating more questions. Maybe we'll see more in the next story about what happened to Blaze and Dani, and the club.

3 Blazin’ Hot Stars

The first book in the Inferno Motorcycle Club series, “Taming Blaze” tells the story of Blaze, the older, jaded biker, Blaze, and Dani, the fresh, young college co-ed.

The story opens on Dani and her current hook-up, hooking up when things take a dark turn. Dani, instead of having some kinky fun, finds herself being choked, and fearing for her life. The experience terrified her, and she finds herself running home to her father.

While travelling on the Pacific Coast Highway, she runs out of gas, and the trauma of her earlier experience catches up to her. She is physically ill on the side of the road and breaks down, crying hysterically. As she tries to pull herself together, she realizes that there’s someone there with her.

Blaze is almost run off the road by Dani, and a few minutes later sees her at the side of the road puking her guts out, and crying hysterically. He debates leaving her there, but does the gentlemanly thing and offers her assistance. He takes her to the closest gas station and buys them lunch at the diner next door. Over their lunch, they both realize that their attraction for each other is almost uncontrollable. After returning to Dani’s stranded car, they give in to their attraction, on the roadside, up against the BMW convertible. It was hot!

Going their separate ways after spending a dirty, dirty night together, they never expected to see each other again. However, fate is a tricky bitch, and brings them back into each other’s lives the following day. Blaze is assigned to protect the daughter of the local mob boss, as part of the initial trial for his MC. He and Dani are both shocked to learn who the other is. And even more so when they learn they are to spend weeks in a safe house together. Alone.

The story moves quickly from there as the storyline unfolds and Dani learns that the life she lived was all a lie. She also learns of her new father, and of the necescessity for guns.

This was a good read. Dani’s storyline was really interesting. She had to face so much betrayal and hurt, and I found the decision she made regarding her “father” oh so justified.

I loved the way Blaze stood by his girl and was willing to risk himself to save her, as a good man should. ☺ His decision to stay in the MC was a but disappointing, but there is still the option for that to change later on in the series, I hope. I was disturbed by the 15 year (?) age gap between Blaze and Dani, but it soon became irrelevant as their relationship blossomed.

The time they spent in seclusion allowed them time to get to know each other, and I believe that this is what made the book work for me. I was, however, disturbed with Dani’s tattoo at the end. “Property of…” should never be tattooed on any woman. That’s a personal thing, but I find that to be offensive. I love tatts and have six of my own, but I would never tattoo “Property of…” and any man’s name anywhere on my body. Again, this is a personal preference.

I enjoyed reading this book. Blaze is a hottie, and he and Dani made sparks fly. Although it wasn’t the best book I’ve read, it was certainly worth the read. If you’re looking for a hot alpha/young co-ed to do naughty things to each other, then this is the book for you! So go on, try it, you may just like it.

I really like MC romances and this was pretty good. The smut was great for sure and Blaze was hot. The plot wasn't overly complicated, but that's okay. Seeing them dance around each other at the cabin was fun and the drama in the background wasn't bad. I like that we got both character's points of view and that it wasn't too long. The part 2 at the end was surprising, but I liked getting a bit more of their story. I also liked that Blaze wasn't controlling and Dani still did what she wanted. I'm looking forward to Axe's story.
