WHOO, this book was wonderful. The characters, the world, the plot. I'm about to pick up AGOS right now :).

First of all, thank you for the recommendation, Tina! Now we can obsess over this story together.
I didn't expect ADSOM to be this exciting. The world-building is sooo professional; with a lot a fantasy stories I feel like the magic part is not entirely explained and lacks of sense. But in this book it was absolutely acceptable and understandable.
I really liked the characters as well. At first, the name of the main character (Kell) bothered me because it sounds weird in Hungarian but then I got used to it. I even liked the evil characters; they were so well written. Reading this book just made me want to read Vicious (another book from the author) even more. Her writing is so good, full of emotions, and I can totally see the places of the book in front of myself.
I wish I could go there!

Had a strong start but finished weak. The author teased too much that was never delivered at the end of the book. The resolution of the plot was poorly executed and lacked substance. Maybe the next book in the series holds redemption... maybe not.
