"Richard Castle's" novel is cute and has just enough action to keep you reading. It's not a literary masterpiece but as a Castle tie-in it's well done.

Deze reeks toont een mooie ontwikkeling; er blijven parallellen met de televisiereeks maar de boeken gaan een paar stappen verder. Ik blijf het de moeite waard vinden.

Not happy with the cliff hanger ending, though I was happy that Nikki got answers about her mother's death. This is a TV Show tie-in that works.

Por ahora, el mejor libro de la colección, es que no le pongo ni una sola pega

Action. Suspense. Heartache. Detective Heat is taken on a roller coaster of emotions as the past of her mother's murder is stirred up during a current case. Rook and her team stick by her side through the thick of the mystery. The ending will have a reader on the edge of the seat.

The first three books in the NH series were pretty good, but this just felt like a different ball game. Really enjoyed the whole thing. Ready for the next one.

Finished this a while ago. Although the Castle series isn't the best written, it fulfills this great need for me to keep the show going while on hiatus - to keep the characters alive. This latest installment did not disappoint in that. However, the ending was a little too vague for me. I know it was supposed to be a cliff-hanger, but it just felt like the author just stopped writing mid-thought.

Think this series is the closest I get to reading fan fiction.
