Really nice to get back into the Moomin series after years with Comet in Moominland. A great introduction to characters like Snufkin and the Snork Maiden. I loved how all the adventures were weaved together while Moomintroll and Sniff go on their quest to discover the truth about the comet. Some beautiful observations and philosophical musings throughout the book. I loved Moomintroll's complete faith in the fact that Moominmamma would put everything right in the end!

Given the adventure and actual conflict I'm surprised and pleased at how many moments of just embracing things as they are and even relaxing there was in this Moomin book. Fans of the series can still expect to be whisked away to a fairy land where little joys are found everywhere, even in strife.
