I will aaaaaaaaaaalways be a sucker for a story where someone has to prove that their missing friend even existed at all. It doesn't matter how many times I read it, that shit's like catnip to me.

The mystery about Emmy was really compelling, though I felt the way in which it tied to the sleazy Coach, mysterious caller, and injured woman could have been done better. They didn't feel like threads of the same story; even a day or so after finishing it I'm still trying to recall who was connected to who and if I actually cared about that???

I also wish we'd got more justice for Leah at the end. I like a bit of ambiguity for time to time, but this was an ending that left me personally wanting more justice.

Interesting twist

The author kept my attention and kept me reading trying to figure out where the story was going and who was involved.

This is pretty good. It's on par with All the Missing Girls imo. I liked Soulprint a hair better, but this one is much better than Hysteria (which I thought was okayish) and Fracture, which I rather disliked.

Good pacing and ambience, well put-together overall. I think Megan Miranda really excels at smoothly uncovering plots (partly why she managed All the Missing Girls so well!) and she does it wonderfully here with only the most minor of hiccups. She even pulls off adding in a love interest organically, managing to weave it into the plot without it feeling contrived or distracting. 4/5 solid.

I listened to this audiobook and I just didn’t really get it. I couldn’t get into it, I found a lot of the storyline to be repetitive and unimportant. I think I would like to try reading this again, but in book or ebook format.

Thrilling suspenseful book! In my opinion, the ending is what held it back from being 5 stars. The ending was lackluster after all the amazing build up and suspense. I was expecting a twist or a big to do, but the ending left me wanting more. I would definitely read this book and and recommend it to anyone looking, but go in knowing the ending may not live up to what you build it up to in your kind! All on all a solid 4-4.5 stars!
