Love this book featuring 4 witty, clever and spunky friends in their 70s who kick ass and put the younger ones - whether they are the police, MI5 agents or criminals - in their place. The characters really grow on you so much that I can’t wait to read the next book!

Why does the book waffle so much? Why is there so much nonsense text and rambling. It feels like a random thought which pops in your mind sort of book. I’m not impressed. The plot is good when it actually starts but it’s just the ramble and words in between 😩. Is that the whole point? I’m bored of it already.. I’m 100+ in. Do I DNF? I already know 20% of the characters so why do we need so much character development?

If there is currently a greater cast of amateur sleuths solving mysteries out there, then I've yet to stumble onto them! (Also, what did Joyce say to Ibrahim, omggg.)

4.5 stars! I love a good whodunnit and the Thursday Murder Club series is no exception. Their stories have fun twists and turns, the characters are so loveable, and they have a wonderful amount of humor. My favorite thing about them though, is the pacing. Each chapter is short and fast and it keeps you turning the pages!

Richard Osman’s books are, really, perfect. Beautiful prose, impeccable plots, satisfying humor, and characters that feel like family. His books have me alternately laughing hysterically or crying… as good as it gets!
