Really liked the way it was written and the tone used throughout. I wasn't overly surprised by any of the revelations about the NHS in it, moreso that we continue to do nothing about the problems.

this book is so raw and honest and heartbreaking, yet comedic . great insight into how the nhs works from someone who knows a bit but not a lot. demonstrated to me the importance of the nhs and how they really are the unsung heroes of our country. nhs workers truly deserve the biggest pay rise.

Well, she said to herself as she put the book down, at least we learnt from this and the NHS is overfunded now, with absolutely no issues with funding, staff retention or resource allocation.

(yes, everyone who said you should read it was right. no, it's not as visual as the TV show. yes, it is on you to take action if you don't want a privatised care system by the time you need it if you haven't needed it yet.)
