Ok so the quote says "a good book has no ending" R.D. Cumming. If that's what was really meant then that's a load of bs

Mind blown

Freaking amazing! Starts off with the sweet almost first love/young love and then BAM. The author hits you with a twist and the story takes a turn for the worse (meaning at almost half way, you can’t help but feel and become totally invested in the outcome.

I liked this story for the most part... minus the surprise babies/pregnancies all over. The back and forth with them because of Kennedy and the surprise pregnancy was a little much. But I did enjoy it. Love the side characters!

This was such a beautifully painful story, done in a way only Amo Jones can do. It was brutal and sad, and heartbreakingly beautiful. It was intense and seductive. It was full of soulmates, tragedy and family.

Legit one of the best books I have read to date. Maddox and Amethyst are life. This book is not just one thing, it's many things, and there is so much going on in the book, there is never ever a dull moment. This book has so many twist and turns, half the time I didn't know which way I was going, and I think that was the intent. This is a "lighter" read of Amo Jones, she is know for some pretty dark and disturbing books. While it's "lighter" there is still darkness to this book.
Don't be fooled and think you are off the hook. This book has, lust, envy, love, hate, humor, action, and surprises. This is the sweeping journey of one broken soul meeting the one that can put that soul back together. This was beautifully written and if I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. I think so many people will be surprised by this book, in a good way. This story is told in dual pov.

I love how this book started, I immediately got engrossed into the story and loved the dynamic between the main characters. I love the way Amo Jones writes stories and how she gets me addicted, staying up late to devour them. This book wasn't the exception. However, somewhere along the way I got annoyed with how this story was developing. I found it started to get all over the place. There was too much drama all of sudden and all those twists and turns felt too forced just for the sake to keep this couple separated. I wanted more time with them and less drama. That's all. Still this was an interesting story.
