This is the first of Le Guin I read, thanks to a trip to Portland, and her writing style is a revelation.

A fantastic retelling of Vergil’s Aeneid through the eyes of what was once a background character. Le Guin finally gave the Latin Queen the room and voice she deserved.

This wasn't my favorite Le Guin book, but I did enjoy it. Reading this alongside [book:The Aeneid] would be interesting.
