This was a DNF for me, and I never DNF. The romance was so unbelievable to me, to the point it gave me the ick. The world building was lacking, and the story felt directionless. I couldn’t bring myself to keep reading, it bored me that much. And the ick just got worse the farther I read. I was excited about this one but sadly it was a disappointment.

Slow build up to start but once it gets past that it’ll have you glued to the pages. Absolutely loved the characters.
Can’t wait to read more.

I really enjoyed this book and thought it was very well written. I loved the characters and how the plot played out. I cannot wait to read book two in the series and see how the characters grow and change! If you liked throne of glass i feel this series hits some of the same aspects and you would enjoy this series as well! Recommend reading!
