Not as great as the first book but still really enjoyable so it gets 4 instead of 5 stars from me :)

Hysterical....this was just as good as the first one, Seduction and Snacks. The language, the topics, can be rather vulgar, but for a good laugh, it was great. I nearly died at the adult store scene. :) My favorite scene in this book!!

I really liked the first book, it was hilarious, but I couldn't find this one as interesting as Seduction and Snacks.

I got the feeling that the author tried so hard to be funny with this book. Sometimes I felt like nothing about the story or the situation made sense.

I loved and admired Claire in the first book. This time around I couldn't find any feelings for her.

Carter was fine, he was actually the only reason why I kept reading.

And then Gavin... oh God. That kid was amazing, what happened to him? If I see a kid like him in real life I'd think he is unpolite and annoying. I mean, he's a great little man but sometimes I didn't like his attitude.

I know this isn't a book to take too seriously, but I think the storyline of the first one was so much better. It took me so long to finish this book, and I really liked some parts but sometimes I got bored and had to stop reading.

Another great book by Tara Sivec. Although perhaps not as funny as the first this book had me laughing. My husband wasn't happy when he got woken up last night when I was having a laughing fit. Some great lines in this book, spitters are quitters is just one of them. The first book featured one of my all time favourite films, Heathers. This book features my favourite shots when out with the girls - tequila rose - and yes it really does taste like strawberry milkshake.
Love that it switches from Claire's to Carter's thoughts and think they are both great characters.
Fantastic funny read!

Very cute sequel to Seduction and Snacks. Nowhere near as funny but that's to be expected when the first one is such a big hit.

This hilarious sequel to "Seduction and Snacks" was a hoot to read and being able to continue the story of Claire and Carter and the merry band of misfits was nearly as enjoyable as the first story. ^.^

"Futures and Frosting" by Tara Sivec had me laughing out loud in certain places but I will admit that the maturity level of the adults was beginning to bug me a bit. These were 20-somethings who seemed to be acting like they were in the same league as Gavin...and speaking of Gavin, I'd probably have several packages of soap on hand to wash out that little boy's mouth (not that it's his fault entirely since he seems to be picking up all his bad behaviors from the adults around him).

I will say that Carter's proposal plans and the subsequent nixing that had to happen had me laughing and the final proposal had me awww-ing because it really was the best one he had come up with. ^.^

All in all, this was a fun read and let's face it, the immaturity of the adults and the situations they find themselves in is part of why the "Chocolate Lovers" series has as many fans as it does, me included. ^.^

Oh man, more Gavin, I just love his kid self, I know he's an adult in the next series of hers where he falls in love, etc. but damn him as a kid is just unreal. The whole series is just one of my favourites by far. Far too entertaining for words and the names of the chapters - cant be beat!

I can't wait to re-read the next one...........again

3.5 stars~ I wanted to enjoy this book so much, but it fell short on my expectations. It was funny don't get me wrong, but where book 1 seemed to flow naturally this book felt forced.... Like awkward unlikely occurrences that were more awkward than funny.... But I did love the ending :-)

I can not remember the last time I laughed so much while reading a book. I loved reading this book so much, I have been recommending it to everyone. With the right amounts of romance and hilarity this book makes it to my list of books I will tell everyone about.
If you want a great weekend read, this trilogy if definitely for you. I can't wait to start the third book today!
