I'm not sure what I was expecting out of this anthology but I definitely didn't get it. This is a perfect example of why everyone can't right erotica in my opinion. I was very underwhelmed and a bit flabbergasted at which stories were published in this collection. What a disappointment.

The concept is great - short romance stories written by well-known authors, except you only get an alphabetical list of their names so you don't know who wrote what - but most of the authors took the opportunity to write something weird and really out there. There's a couple real bangers, but by the last 1/3 I was just skimming.

What would you write if you wrote a short story about sex? Would your story be sexy? Sweet? Thrilling? Abstract? Alien? ANONYMOUS SEX a bit of everything. This is not a collection of solely spicy/smutty stories, but rather a collection stories contemplating “desire.” I enjoyed the different ways authors approached the topic, some really making me think. The reader must embrace each story's unique style and fall into its cadence and world. You may not enjoy all of these stories; however, there will be something for you because of its multifaceted nature. Giving the authors anonymity allows for a unique freedom, and knowing the contributors but not their story creates an intriguing puzzle as you try to pinpoint who's who. Give it a try and see what you find.

I'm not a huge fan of erotica as it can easily be very boring or require a high level of suspension of belief. I wanted to read this anthology of short stories as I found the blurb fascinating.
I liked some stories and found others quite boring.
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Very hit or miss. The train stories were by far the best.

I really loved the concept of this book (27 stories all from different authors) - It did mean I preferred some over others but I do think this is great book to dip in and out of.
I really love the artwork on the cover.
Overall I recommend for fans of erotic literature and for anyone who is intrigued by the concept.

This is such a fun concept and I was absolutely sold. There are a few clunkers in here, and some underwhelming pieces, but for the most part I loved this collection. Don’t expect kinky (there’s a different book for that), more simply sexy and sometimes sweet and sometimes really lovely and sometimes just dealing with the topic of sex? But there are some phenomenal stories in here and the anonymity kept me guessing and intrigued the whole way through. The puzzle is half the fun.

I read 100 pages in and really didn’t find this book entertaining or very relatable. At times the stories made absolutely no sense.
