Based on the previous books in this series, I knew going in that there probably would be some heavy topics, but this felt like so many heavy topics all at once. Regardless, I loved their story. To me the ending didn’t really live up to the hype of the first 80%. I also wanted more epilogue. I feel like Grace wasn’t in it enough in the end, and the happy ending wasn’t long enough I wanted more!

I started this book and wasn’t really able to get into it initially. I came to this book because of my love for Just For The Summer. And while the fundamentals were similar, I didn’t love it just as much.

Thankfully I was able to get into the book after a few chapters! The books was really good and inspiring to live your best life because you never know how many days you truly have left.

Abby Jimenez writes lines that sound like Taylor Swift lyrics and it’s really beautiful.

There were definitely turns in this book and I found myself considering how they come up with these twists, if they just draw from a hat sometimes. But the story was very good and cohesive.

I was in love in love with the characters but they were enjoyable. And I related more to the male character and the emotions he was going through. Both characters had some listening problems but I think they worked out in the end.

Grace was one of my favorite characters and she was so sweet.

At the end, there is a sort of update about all of their lives for a few months. And I think it was good that Jimenez stayed realistic and didn’t make it seem all happy, but on the right track with a few flaws (Spoiler: Ex. Annabel relapsing but getting help immediately)

This book is cute and it wouldn’t be my top recommendation but I would still recommend it as a fast paced romance if you’re facing some baby fever! Abby Jimenez hasn’t failed me yet!

Life's Too Short is such a beautiful story! The resilience, and the care, and the love is so great! I'd highly recommend it.

Vanessa and Adrien are so cute together! Adrien is the biggest simp in the world, and he pines for our girl so hard! We love to see it. Abby Jimenez writes the best men, and no one will change my mind.

I only have one tiny little complaint, but it's a bit of a spoiler to I'll keep it to myself. Let's just say that you should read this book if you love
- strangers to enemies to lovers
- forced proximity
- he falls harder
- single parent (aunt)
- emotional romances

Abby Jimenez never misses. 4.5 stars.

I don't usually cry over books. It has to be a REALLY good book for me to cry. The characters need to have grabbed me by my soul for me to cry.

I cried.

Abby Jimenez is hands-down one of my favorite authors. Her stories are so real and so beautifully written and the audiobooks are always ALWAYS amazing. Zachary Webber and Christine Larkin are so talented and they work together so well.

Content warnings: this story is intense.
