Second time reading and it was just as good. Much better than the movie (not surprised.) I love the story of Travis and Gabby. I especially love the story told from Travis’s perspective. We rarely get to see/hear stories from the male perspective and hearing his version of their love story was so beautiful.
One of my top 5 N. Sparks books.

You know exactly what you are going to get with a Nicholas Sparks book and that's what I needed right now so overall it did not disappoint.

Least favorite of his books. The plot and characters were pretty stale and didn't have the depth his other books have. Pretty underwhelming. Basically the only reason I finished it was because it was short.

I've been considering how to review this book in a way that won't give away the ending. It's a great love story with a believable plot. I'm still trying to figure out how a male author can write like this -- in a way that makes female readers want to be the leading lady in the novel.

You can read the summary to find out what the story is like. I won't reiterate the plot. I will tell you that it was a story I couldn't wait to continue reading. It's a book I could see myself revisiting later on. It's something I would recommend my friends read -- if you like this genre.

Nicholas sparks used to be my favourite author, man how that has changed. I no longer enjoy reading about unrealistic romantic relationships. The main female character kept mentioning she had a boyfriend every two seconds but didn’t find it hard to cheat on him, I’m sorry but I don’t condone cheating.

Read this out of obligation - given by a friend. One of those quick mindless reads - just ok.

It seemed like the book had no plot at all. I couldn't connect with the characters either and it was kind of boring too.
