This book picks up right where we left off in parallel. Since this is a sequel there will be spoilers in this review. So proceed with caution.

I really enjoyed getting the full story regarding Nick and Quinn's past lives. This book definitely felt more paranormal/suspense compared to the last one. I love the concept of multiple lives and seeing Nick and Quinn navigate through parallel timelines and time-traveling.

I honestly really enjoyed the first book and was a bit disappointed in the second book. I felt that it was very predictable with Rose, Sarah's real identity, and Nick and Quinn's ridiculous inability to think logically when they are around each other. The amount of times I had to roll my eyes at them is absurd. However, I did actually enjoy the book and seeing all the things work themselves out. I'm excited about the rest of the series and getting to know more about Sarah's back story.
