Wow!

This book was fantastic. All our beloved characters returned for the book 3.
There were so many twists and turns.I likes how it was wrapped up nicely at the end.
Really didn't see it coming. Can't wait for book 4,"Angel".

Like LJ Ross's style of writing and the DCI Ryan character, thought this was a bit slow in parts but overall good read

Third book in this series following Holy Island and Sycamore Gap. This concludes the trilogy of DCI Ryan and the circle. I loved it it was fast paced and page turning through out the whole story. I would have to say it would be a good stand alone book but I think it would be better for you to read the first 2 because there are little references to things that happened mostly in the second book but its a brilliant story.

I really love the character in this series. You can imagine them all as real people, especially Ryan. I love his thinking and the fact he doesnt put up with any crap from anyone. When it comes to Anna though he is such a softy and its clear he loves her but when police work happens he is on the ball.

I would totally recommend this. Love this one, its probably the best book out of the three.

I've binged the first 3 books in this series, and I'm really enjoying the series so far.

The characters and setting are great. I like Ryan and Anna more but there's definitely a theme with these two (he protects her without consulting her, she gets mad, he explains himself and refuses to not protect her, they kiss and make up). I also like the other main squad members. I've been listening to the audiobooks, and the accents/banter are great.

Book 3 mentions my home city numerous times - I love it!
